studysignal

Private beta · Starting with the SAT

The first testing method that proves you actually know it.

Catch when a right answer is real knowledge — and when it's just a lucky guess. Then StudySignal uses AI to build custom-tailored tests that target what you still need to learn.

Free while in beta. No card, no spam — an invite when a seat opens.

01 · The signal

Multiple choice has a luck problem. We fixed it.

Guess B on a question you never understood, and every other prep tool calls it progress. One in four of your "correct" answers can be noise — and a score report built on noise sends you to study the wrong things.

Before StudySignal shows you whether you were right, you rate your confidence: green, yellow, or red. Crossed with correctness, every answer lands in one of six honest outcomes — not two.

Only Mastery counts as done. The other five go back on the pile — each handled differently.
Your confidence Answered correctly Answered wrong
Green“Knew it” MasteryYou knew it, and you were right. This is the only box that retires a question. MisconceptionSure — and wrong. The most dangerous box on the board, and the one everything else hides.
Yellow“Pretty sure” LuckyRight answer, shaky footing. Feels like progress; isn’t yet. ShakyYou had a hunch and it missed. The foundation needs one more layer.
Red“No idea” FlukeA blind guess that happened to land. Other tools would have counted it. StumpedDidn’t know, didn’t guess right. Honest — and exactly where teaching starts.

02 · Your next test

Practice that narrows instead of wandering.

Finish a test and StudySignal already knows what the next one should be. Everything you didn’t master comes back as fresh questions on the same concepts — never the same question twice. Miss something on unsteady ground and the difficulty steps down to rebuild the foundation, then climbs back to where you started.

And when the question bank runs thin on your exact weak spot, AI generates new questions to match it — same topic, same difficulty, written for the gap you actually have.

03 · The map

Watch the map fill in.

Your results roll up into the domains the real exam is scored on, weakest first, so the next study session picks itself. Tap any domain to see the topics inside it — with plain right/wrong counts, because two questions don’t deserve a percentage.

The headline number isn’t “questions correct.” It’s questions mastered — the ones you got right and knew it. That number only moves when the knowledge is real, which is exactly why it’s worth watching.

04 · Coverage

Starting with the SAT. Your test is next.

The beta opens with the SAT, backed by thousands of curated questions. The method works on any multiple-choice exam — so the rest of the roster is already in the works.

05 · For teachers & tutors

Thirty students. Thirty different prep plans. One afternoon.

Compose a test once and assign it to a whole roster with a link — or let each student’s own signal decide what their version should drill. You didn’t write thirty tests; StudySignal did.

Then the follow-up does itself: see who’s finished, who’s stuck, and which topics the whole class is shaky on in a single performance matrix. The half-hour you spent grading and guessing becomes a glance.

Private beta

We’re letting people in slowly — on purpose.

StudySignal is in private beta while we tune it with a small group of students, parents, and teachers. Tell us a little about yourself and we’ll send an invite when a seat opens.

  • Free for the whole beta — no card, no plans to pick from.
  • Your feedback lands on the actual roadmap, usually the same week.
  • Teachers get the full composer, rosters, and share links.
Application received — thank you. We read every one, and we’ll email you when a seat opens.

We only use this to send your invite. Nothing else, ever.
